Lens optics are clean and clear but may have some minor dust, which has no impact on image quality.

Good  - In good overall condition may have some signs of cosmetic wear i.e. light scuffing to some areas / slight shiny surfaces

Any casings, glass, buttons, and screen(s) are in good condition

No significant chips/scratches or damage

Full working order

Glass in good clean condition (May have very light dust, haze, and fungus)

Well Used - The item may show heavy use and marks & may have significant signs of cosmetic wear i.e. scuffing to some areas / shiny surfaces/marks

Any casings, glass, buttons, and screen(s) are in full working condition

Lens optics may contain minor scuffing and may have moderate fungus growth within glass elements.

Well-used items are in full working order but may benefit from a strip clean

Grade F - Items graded as F are items that are either faulty or do work but are in such poor condition that they're verging on being unusable. - Grade F products are listed in our outlet.

Please note that the camera lenses that we sell on our site are often vintage and as such may show signs of dust within the elements if held directly to a hard light source, which isn't visible to the naked eye, but this would have no impact on images.

Vintage lenses may also show some signs of oil on the aperture blades, this is common with vintage lenses, but if this has no effect on the opening and closing of the iris, it will not be mentioned in the product description. However, if any oil on the blades does have an effect on the opening and closing of the iris, it will be mentioned and the product listed as Grade F.

Please do remember that you're buying vintage items, as such they're rarely going to be in brand new factory condition.
